The Mission

Jeff is a retired US Navy Chief Petty Officer. He knows and understands Warfighter needs.

US Navy Chief Petty Officer

Jeff brings a wealth of diverse Naval Aviation and Leadership experience to the table. He spent 20 years in the US Navy working with Aviation Life Support Systems, culminating his career as a Chief Petty Officer (E7) developing the US Navy Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) requirements for the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) Program.

Senior Engineer/Scientist

After retiring from the US Navy, Jeff went on to work for KR Systems Inc., a former Small Disabled-Veteran Owned Defense Contractor, where he served as Senior Engineer/Scientist and IPT Leader for the JHMCS Program. He also served as Director of Digital Archive Solutions commercial business unit and served on the board of KR Systems until he became a US Government Civilian with NAVAIR.

US Government Civilian Service
Most recently, he has served as the Avionics IPT Co-Lead for NAVAIR’s PMA-265, managing a budget of over $800M, over 90 personnel, and 95 different Avionics components that make up the entire F/A-18 and E/A-18G Avionics Portfolio.

Jeff Dronenburg, Sr. has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management as well as an Associate’s Certificate of Project Management from The George Washington University. He also has a B.S. in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland, University College. He is a Defense Acquisition Corps Member (2014) with Level III DAWIA Certification in Program Management.

He has received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal for Exceptional Leadership, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal while active duty in the US Navy.

Jeff has managed portfolios of highly complex systems. His most recent portfolio included over 95 different avionics components that comprise the full F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Portfolio including:
• Communications, Navigation and Identification (CNI) Systems

• Displays

• Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS)

• Audio, Video, Data Recorders & Flight Incident Recorders

• Distributed Targeting Systems & Processors
