Jeff Dronenburg, Sr.

A US Navy veteran specializing in leading large cross functional teams to develop innovative solutions to issues in highly complex integrated systems that maximize efficiencies in cost, schedule, and performance.

Jeff is a retired US Government Civilian with over 20 years of experience as a Senior Program Manager. He is a retired United States Navy Chief Petty Officer who has also served as a board member of a Small Disabled-Veteran Owned Defense Company. 

His career has focused primarily on program management in the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) F/A-18 and E/A-18G Program Office in Patuxent River, MD.

Jeff Dronenburg, Sr. has built his entire career around US Naval Aviation. He has worked with multiple platforms throughout his career including:
► F/A-18A-D Hornet and F/A-18E/F Super Hornet
► E/A-18G Growler
► S-3A/B Viking
► EA-6B Prowler

Program Management

Jeff Dronenburg, Sr. has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management as well as an Associate’s Certificate of Project Management from The George Washington University. He also has a B.S. in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland, University College. He is a Defense Acquisition Corps Member (2014) with Level III DAWIA Certification in Program Management.

He has received the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal for Exceptional Leadership, and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal while active duty in the US Navy.

Most recently, Jeff served as the Avionics Integrated Product Team (IPT) Co-Lead of Naval Air Systems Command’s (NAVAIR) PMA-265, managing a budget of over $800M and a staff of over 90 personnel.

Jeff Dronenburg, Sr. specializes in managing large portfolios of technically complex systems. He has an A.S. in Engineering from Coastal Bend College and a B.S. in Information Systems Management from University of Maryland, University College. Throughout his career, he has managed a multitude of diverse Avionics systems.

His most recent portfolio included over 95 different avionics components that comprise the full F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Portfolio including:

► Mission Computers, Fiber Channel Network Switches, Stores Management Processors
